🎭 What a fantastic evening we had recently! A massive 86 pupils, along with some parents, the English department, and other staff, gathered at the Opera House in Manchester to enjoy Jason Mansford and Richard Fleeshman’s brand-new musical, Something Rotten! 🌟

Set in the 1590s, this hilarious musical comedy follows two playwright brothers as they try to outshine the legendary William Shakespeare. With its clever humour, catchy music, and witty references to Shakespeare’s works, the production brought the world of Elizabethan theatre to life! 🎶

Everyone had a wonderful time, and it was an excellent opportunity for our pupils to see their classroom learning come alive on stage. We are thrilled about the upcoming plans for the next stage of this incredible journey! 🎉

🏆⚽ Historic Success for Trafford Schoolboys! ⚽🏆

A huge congratulations to Joseph E and Billy G in Year 9, who helped Trafford Schoolboys achieve a truly remarkable feat by winning the National Plate Final on Saturday 13th June.

This achievement is particularly special as it marks the first time in history that the Trafford district has ever reached a national final – and to go on and win such a prestigious title is an incredible accomplishment.

Joseph and Billy have represented both Trafford and St Antony's RC School with pride, commitment, and determination throughout the competition. We are extremely proud of their contribution to this historic success.

Students who had been selected to represent St Antony’s should not come to school or travel directly to Longford Park.
