SAPD is on Rugg St at this time attempting to locate a subject wanted on an active arrest warrant. Contained to a residence. #stapdvt

SAPD responded to a male with a rifle on Lincoln Ave at 5:50PM. Suspect was confronted and fired a shot. Officers returned fire and suspect is down. He was taken to NMC for treatment. No officers injured. VSP is investigating the incident. #stapdvt

SAPD investigated a suspicious beeping object on North Main St today believed to be an IED. Turned out to be trash left by a thief who used foil to evade the anti theft devices. All is well now. #stapdvt

WINTER PARKING BAN IN EFFECT: The City of St Albans Winter Parking Ban is in effect from Dec 1 to March 15. Main Street 12AM to 6AM and all other streets 1AM to 6AM. Vehicles parked in the City lots #2 and #3 must have a valid permit to park between 1AM and 6AM. #stapdvt
