(c) and trying to cover up what’s really going on.
We can all see that she is not healthy and are concerned for her, especially while she's touring.
I just hope we can be respectful of everyone’s opinions while trying not to normalize this rhetoric.
See, what we are not going to do is normalize this. Both are examples of what it CAN look like when someone is struggling.
We all know Ari has been through hell so let’s not pretend her trauma has just vanished b/c she says she’s happier. She could easily be lying to us (c)
You're telling me that Taylor did a whole photoshoot for a feature soundtrack??? Yeah, no, I'm not buying it… We are totally getting debut taylor’s version this year if it wasn't already obvious
It’s a *Toy* Story 🤠
You knew it! My new original song “I Knew It, I Knew You” for Disney and @Pixar’s @toystory 5 will be yours on June 5th. I’ve always dreamed of getting to write for these characters who I’ve adored since I was a 5 year old kid watching the first Toy Story movie. I fell instantly in love with Toy Story 5 when I was lucky enough to see it in its early stages, and I wrote this song as soon as I got home from the screening. Sometimes you just know, right?
You can pre-order now exclusively at https://t.co/NoneI6kxdH and catch Toy Story 5 in theaters June 19th ☁️☁️☁️☁️☁️
My favorite part about writing is that first spark of an idea. It can happen at any time, for any reason. The idea for the Opalite music video crash landed into my imagination when I was doing promo for The Life of a Showgirl. I was a guest on one of my favorite shows, @TheGNShow. For those of you who aren’t familiar, it’s a UK late night show where Graham Norton (the insanely charismatic and lovable host) invites a random group of actors, entertainers, musicians, etc to be on his show and we all sit there and chat like it’s a dinner party. They even serve wine. Anyway. I remember thinking I got ridiculously lucky with the group I was paired with. Cillian Murphy, Domhnall Gleeson, Greta Lee, Jodie Turner-Smith, and @LewisCapaldi. All people whose work I’ve admired from afar. When we were all talking during the broadcast, Domhnall made a light hearted joke about wanting to be in one of my music videos. He’s Irish! He was joking! Except that in that moment during the interview, I was instantly struck with an *idea*. And so a week later he received an email script I’d written for the Opalite video, where he was playing the starring role. I had this thought that it would be wild if all of our fellow guests on the Graham Norton show that night, including Graham himself, could be a part of it too. Like a school group project but for adults and it isn’t mandatory. To my delight, everyone from the show made the effort to time travel back to the 90’s with us and help with this video. You might even recognize some friendly faces from The Eras Tour. I got to work with one of my favorite people in the world, Rodrigo Prieto, again! I had more fun than I ever imagined - Made new friends, metaphors, and fashion choices. It was an absolute thrill to create this story and these characters. Shot on film. The Opalite video is out now on Spotify & Apple Music.

Sea of Monsters can be excused since it’s the shortest book, but moving forward, the story and characters definitely needs more space. Some of the most popular and more mature shows right now run 45 to 50 minutes to an hour, and their audiences are majority kids and families attention span clearly isn’t the issue when it comes to streaming shows.
Not gonna lie, I don’t know if it’s a Disney+ original mandate (something they desperately need to get rid of, a creative choice, or a production or editing decision (especially since Andor had longer runtimes), but the episodes really need room to breathe. Forty something minutes to an hour feels necessary. There’s just no realistic way Seasons 3, 4, and 5 can stick to 30 something minutes episodes and still fully tell those vast stories, hit every emotional beat and pay off, and explore every character’s arc as the ensemble grows beyond Percy and the material gets heavier.
It was the End of an Era and we knew it. We wanted to remember every moment leading up to the culmination of the most important and intense chapter of our lives, so we allowed filmmakers to capture this tour and all the stories woven throughout it as it wound down. And to film the final show in its entirety.
The Eras Tour | The Final Show, featuring the entire Tortured Poets Department set, and the first two episodes of The End of an Era, a 6-episode behind-the-scenes docuseries will be yours December 12th on @DisneyPlus
Dare I say The Life of a Showgirl is her most single heavy album since 1989? The Fate of Ophelia, Opalite, Father Figure, Wood, Honey?!?! Is it her most lyrically sophisticated album? No. Is it full of absolute bops? YES.
idk I don’t think Taylor Swift should have to postpone the kind of relationship and future she wants AND singing about those things because it’s not politically convenient like she’s also a human being stop putting the weight of the entire world on her shoulders
Writing, rehearsing, directing and shooting the music video for “The Fate of Ophelia” was the thrill of a lifetime because I got to be reunited with my Eras Tour family!! I wanted each one-take scene to feel like a live performance and remind us all of how it felt to be at those shows together. Making every moment count. It’s a journey through the chaotic world of show business. I loved working with Rodrigo Prieto, Ethan Tobman and Mandy Moore to dream up these visuals. A huge thank you to this massive cast who kept it 💯 and also kept the secret of this video even existing. It’s out on YouTube NOW!

@phoebzzn Btw the reason why you cannot search “Taylor Swift AI” is because her team blocked it when her likeness was being used for p*rn & supporting Donald Trump
