President Trump should give my buddy @johnrich a call … in an hour, he could have the most badass patriot musicians in Nashville and beyond to put on a 250 celebration for the ages.
LET’S DO THIS.
For all of you interested in following the World Series of Poker, some good news today for yours truly. I made Day Two of Event #8 $1500 BADUGI. There are 99 players left out of 554 entries. I’m currently in 40th place. 84 players will get paid. First place is $141,962.
I assume many of you have never heard of BADUGI. It’s a lowball poker variant coming out of Korea. It supposedly roughly translates as “spotted dog.” The goal is to make the lowest four card hand of all four suits. So, of course, A234 “rainbow” is the best hand, and colloquially referred to as “the wheel.” It’s one of my favorite games, because it’s easy to learn and difficult to master. While it’s deceptively, simple, the strategies are rather clever and subtle. So-called “mixed games“ are becoming ever more popular in the poker world now that holdem has been “solved“ with what are called GTO strategies.
The mixed games are great to learn for recreational players like myself who want to play poker in tournaments. Because they are limit games, you usually can’t get knocked out right away, which is always possible in a no limit game like holdem. It’s a wonderful way to experience the fabulous World Series of Poker without being intimidated as a beginner.
At some point later in the day, if I manage to stay in, you’ll be able to follow the action on https://t.co/XFz3Dxk3lh. @WSOP

Campaigns can be hard fought, but Republicans know what’s at stake in November.
Now it’s time to move forward together, stay focused on the mission ahead, and keep fighting for the future of Texas.
