It'll be a bad ending (which makes sense given the traveler's reckless decisions in 7.x), and next 2 years of Genshin will be us traveling back in time to fix

This is why there's no modern characters, new characters are all from the past

No lore buildup, no connection with the 100s of existing characters & their lore.

Unfortunately, this leak seems to be setting up the Traveler going to alien worlds in 8.0 and beyond

@GenshinUniverse In fact, I suspect they will do the outer space arc before we defeat Phanes or reach the conclusion of our arc with the abyss sibling.

Since if they conclude Teyvat storyline completely, and then pivot entirely to outer-space, a lot of players might just drop the game

If people don't like it (characters don't sell), they'll probably revert back to expanding Teyvat in 8.0+

If people do, we'll probably be leaving Teyvat by 9.0 at the latest

It seems crazy they'd put Kiana on banner so early though. Especially when both Ronova & Asmoday kinda looks like her..

I suppose it could make sense that Kevin would create shades that look the part
