One thing I believe many young people need to hear is this: you do not have to wait until everything makes sense before taking the first step.

Sometimes, we delay growth because we waiting for certainty; the perfect plan, enough confidence, enough resources, or complete clarity.

There were moments I did not have everything figured out, but continuing to show up, learn, and take small steps made a difference.

If you're still figuring it out, that is okay.

Start where you are. Learn and grow. Sometimes, the courage to begin matters more than having all.

As I listened, I found myself reflecting on a question that has continued to surface over the years: How do we move from preparing young people for leadership to actually trusting them with responsibility?

As educators, parents, leaders, and policymakers, are we measuring educational success by what students can remember, or by what they can become?

Today education remains one of the most powerful tools for shaping individuals and societies, and we can say that school teaches the important things and the foundational skills needed to function in the modern world.

But sometimes, I find myself asking a difficult question:

I believe Education should do more than prepare people for tests.

It should prepare them for citizenship, leadership, contribution, and lifelong learning.

Perhaps the future of education is not simply about teaching more subjects, but about developing more capable human beings.
