Never has there been more money thrown at -$EV bets by young males addicted to gambling in history. Sports parlays, memecoins, online slots/BJ, live casinos, lotteries, stretch offs… We are going to see the consequences of this and it’s not going to be pretty. People trading +$EV choices for dopamine hits to try to mimic influencers…

There should be zero ability to advertise sports betting, lotteries, shitcoin trading, etc. Influencers can stream or post content but they can’t shill affiliate links to this dog shit. Influencers can’t advertise… lines can be drawn.

I love gambling but my experience with poker and what so many youth are doing today are not the same. People should be free to do what they want, but we shouldn’t have it thrown in people’s face like it is today…. Like cigarettes. For the same reasons there’s no Marlboro man there should be no DraftKings ad on TNT.
