@JTWeaver9 If you care about protecting your search data, Startpage is a better option. We don't store, share, or profit from your personal data. And re: the "filter bubble," Google shows you results based on your search history, we do not. Hope this helps.

@ByssheUp We're not able to reproduce this issue. Looks like this is an older Startpage UI, iOS, Safari, device theme = light, Startpage theme = dark. Are you still experiencing this issue in 2025? If, so can you give us some more information about your setup?

@EugenesDIYDen @startpage @Google @bing Thanks for your question. I see what you mean—a site: search on Google and SP only has a few results, whereas Bing has pages of results from your site. We don't maintain an index and do not have a say in what does and does not get indexed. That's something to take up with Google.

@CaryFreaknGrant @startpage Got it. Well, scraping and abuse is unfortunately a daily struggle for us, and so maintaining a robust anit-abuse system is a necessity. We are always trying to cut down on false positives. Fwiw, DM or contact Support, and we can probably lift whatever block is in place.
