The Dubendorf-based startup Bubble Robotics has closed a $5 million pre-seed funding round, led by Episode 1 Ventures, Asterion Ventures, and Norrsken Evolve. This following the startup’s launch out of Entrepreneurs First. Bubble is developing a fleet of intelligent robotic systems that can operate continuously at sea for months, without the need for human intervention.

The #GovTech Innovation Exchange 2025 connected Federal Offices with Swiss startups, ready to tackle digital transformation challenges of the Swiss government.

In 2025, eight offices submitted twelve real-world challenges - from data flows and process automation to improving internal collaboration. Out of 146 applying startups and 184 submitted proposals scouted by Venturelab, the federal administration pre-selected 16 companies in response to the call for applications. Over the course of two sessions, the companies pitched and discussed their solutions directly with administration representatives.
