I'm glad the engineer from Atlassian responded saying that if he were to build it again, he would have done differently. There is literally barely any reason to use EC2 instance, and old legacy tech. All can be done so much better with better tools.

I see a lot of people saying you dont need K8s, just use EC2 instance etc.

But isnt easier to just deploy the cluster and deploy your apps there.

I'm way faster to spin K8s and deploy containers, takes like 15-30mins with no argo, no tf
