From my own experience, I installed one of the company's software and this is what happened. I had scheduled an interview with another company which was paying way higher & it was well in line with my expertise. I did the interview, finished so well and had big hopes that I'd be considered. Later, the same week, I got a firing letter from the HR. You know why? The software I installed had an "AI note taker" that could monitor all your activities especially the ones attached to your mail. It did record the whole interview to the end and automatically sent the link of the interview to my email and to those linked to the software (the HR which I knew later). I was embarrassed. I will NEVER EVER install any company software on my phone again unless they issue me with their gadgets.
The software had privacy policies which more often we read halfway or just ignore. Do not accept terms you have no consent of.
Experience is the best teacher, listen to Simons advice.
