Their Excellencies the Deputy Chairmen of the State Financial and Administrative Audit Authority visited Oman LNG, where they met with the company's Chief Executive Officer and were briefed on its digital transformation strategy and its use of artificial intelligence applications to enhance operational efficiency. The company also presented its experience in optimizing the use of its human resources through the deployment of digital assistants to support routine business functions and data analysis, as well as its approach to manufacturing selected spare parts using 3D printing technologies.

قام أصحاب السعادة نائبا رئيس #جهاز_الرقابة_المالية_والإدارية_للدولة بزيارة إلى الشركة العُمانية للغاز الطبيعي المسال، حيث التقيا بالرئيس التنفيذي للشركة، واطّلعا على استراتيجيتها في مجال التحول الرقمي، وتوظيف تطبيقات الذكاء الاصطناعي لتحسين كفاءة العمليات التشغيلية، إلى جانب استعراض تجربة الشركة في تحقيق الاستفادة المثلى من الموارد البشرية من خلال توظيف المساعدين الرقميين في دعم الأعمال الروتينية وتحليل البيانات، وتوجه الشركة في تصنيع بعض قطع الغيار بتقنيات الطباعة ثلاثية الأبعاد.

As part of its steadfast commitment to promoting integrity and strengthening Arab cooperation in combating corruption, His Excellency Zaher bin Sulaiman Al Salmy, Deputy Chairman of the State Financial and Administrative Audit Authority for Audit of Government Units, received today at the Authority’s headquarters experts from the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Kingdom of Morocco, and the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States, as part of the country visit to review the Sultanate of Oman’s implementation of the Arab Convention against Corruption.

The visit included discussions on the Sultanate of Oman's implementation of the Convention's provisions, as well as a review of the successful experiences and best practices identified through the review process. The visit contributes to the implementation of the Terms of Reference for the Mechanism for Reviewing the Implementation of the Arab Convention against Corruption, while fostering the exchange of expertise and supporting the advancement of joint Arab efforts to prevent corruption and promote the principles of integrity and transparency.

استقبل سعادة زاهر بن سليمان السالمي، نائب رئيس #جهاز_الرقابة_المالية_والإدارية_للدولة للرقابة على الوحدات الحكومية اليوم بمقر الجهاز خبراء من مملكة البحرين والمملكة المغربية والأمانة العامة لجامعة الدول العربية ضمن أعمال الزيارة القطرية لاستعراض تنفيذ سلطنة عُمان للاتفاقية العربية لمكافحة الفساد.

وتضمنت الزيارة مناقشة تنفيذ سلطنة عُمان لأحكام الاتفاقية، واستعراض التجارب الناجحة والممارسات الفضلى الناتجة عن عملية الاستعراض، بما يحقق تنفيذ بنود الإطار المرجعي لآلية استعراض الاتفاقية، ويعزز من تبادل الخبرات ودعم تطوير الجهود العربية المشتركة في الوقاية من الفساد وترسيخ مبادئ النزاهة والشفافية.

As part of efforts to follow up on institutional performance and strategic projects,
H.E. Zahra bint Mohammed Redha Al Lawati, Deputy Chairman of State Financial and Administrative Audit Authority for Audit of Authorities, Investments, and Companies, paid a visit to Nama Water Services Company. The visit included a review of the company’s financial performance and regulatory procedures, details on the status of ongoing projects, and plans for future projects, as well as an overview of efforts to maintain water quality and reduce annual water loss.
Her Excellency also visited the Smart Water Meters Control Center to learn about its operational mechanisms and the modern applications used to link and analyze data using artificial intelligence.

In line with its keenness to enhance joint cooperation in promoting integrity and combating corruption, the State Financial and Administrative Audit Authority participated today in the 41st meeting of the Anti-Corruption Experts Committee of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC), which was held via video conferencing.
The meeting addressed several topics related to enhancing anti-corruption efforts at the GCC level, including the Joint GCC Anti-Corruption Strategy and reviewing the guiding work mechanism for the Anti-Corruption Experts Committee. Additionally, it followed up on the updates regarding the Second Competition for Research and Studies in Integrity Protection and Anti-Corruption.
