@abel_jennifer My guess would be no full credit. In the CED, the conditions pg for all of the sampling dist. list the “10% rule” as a requirement for all. “Indep Samples” is not listed. However, Jim Bohan said this summer that he recommends checking indep samples for diff in 2 means & 2 prop.

@abel_jennifer The condition of “independent samples” for 2 sample means or 2 sample prop is not required in the CED as long as the “10% rule” is satisfied since it says the difference is “negligible”. Independent samples allow for the adding of variances in the calculation of the s.d. of x-bar
