It's so gratifying to see all of these little things start to come together. I've been working on Rock Hoppers for years now. I'd be lying if I said the end was in sight, but at least I can't see where I started from here.
Episode three of our Story Arc tutorial series is out. This one covers a lot - we do the Actor, Set, and Item tabs as well as the main panel and diagnostics. This concludes the tutorial series. For Now

@TychoBrahe I cannot for the life of me understand how Sony thought it would be a good idea to burn the astonishing amount of goodwill Helldivers has bought them - an amount of goodwill they couldn't have bought with money or love - merely in order to hit some kind of arbitrary signup metric
The first episode of our new tutorial series on the Story Arc system is up. The story arc system is what gives our NPCs their personality!

We just published the first tutorial on Rock Hopper's prefab editor. I cover the basics of moving around in zero-G, manipulating and placing blocks, and managing the creative inventory. I also touch on the gravity and oxygen systems. https://t.co/byEDG4yWmE

@GreyAlien I'm mostly just wallowing in self-pity here. I appreciate your sincere efforts to help new indie devs to get their games into the hands of the people, and I've enjoyed reading your posts about your own dev experiences for a good while now. o7
@PA_Megacorp@TychoBrahe Do you guys ever think about how we got here? You know, back when you were making posts about empty CD-roms and day one patches, did you think there would come a time when you could just buy your games online and then later have them arbitrarily taken away?
@psipeck@gamedevdotcom@RockstarGames I dunno man. I'm really thinking about subscribing to a game that was released a decade ago on the Xbox 360, that I can buy for like 3 dollars at any thrift store in the country. It's a compelling proposition.
@GreyAlien Aw man. I wish that were an option. I mean realistically it's probably a good tip for a lot of people, but this rabbit hole I'm in is way deep.
