@HawthornFC I love him as a footballer however he's actually a GEM of a person too. There was talk recently of the AFL looking for more coaches that have an indigenous background.
A role that I think he could fulfill when the time comes.
Well spoken, highly respected, fearless & driven.
A true blues landmark returns. ๐ถ

Many thanks to those who have contacted me with nice comments about my two liberalism pieces. I will continue posting on this topic as part of my broader book project on saving liberalism.

This video shows the opening ceremony of the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece, which marked the return of the Games to their historic birthplace. The ceremony combined theatrical performances, Greek cultural heritage, and a display of sporting unity, as thousands of athletes from 201 delegations made their entrance into the stadium. โ

The lighting of the Olympic cauldron marked the official start of the Games and celebrated the enduring legacy of the Olympic Games in the modern era.โ
The last time @HawthornFC played a home game at the MCG was round 4 April 6th against the Cats.
Hoping to see plenty of Gold and Brown at the G this Friday night.
Let's go Hawks ๐ค๐
Hearing all those different songs after each St.Kilda goal was really weird. What happened to hearing the crowd and supporters loud and proud after a goal?
That's part of what makes footy great.
So glad @HawthornFC don't do this.
Anyone else think the same? ๐ค
@1116sen I'd love to agree with Kane and I was until earlier this afternoon when I saw the fan footage that has been uploaded. Live at the match it looked fine but I didn't have that angle on the wing.
@RalphyHeraldSun More than happy as an obsessive Hawthorn member to share this post.
It doesnโt warrant any other discussion or debate. The officiating umpire was correct.
As the AFL umpiring team assesses the Nick Watson decision, this is the best angle. There is no broadcast vision of that angle. The question is whether Watson veering right is enough to call play on? Would you call it in the last seconds of a Grand Final?
