@chemotaxis @tomwalkerisgood With a fair coin you have a 50-50 chance of seeing 10 tails before 10 heads. I asked Tom for clarification on whether getting 11 tails would increase the required number of heads to 12 or not. You can think of that as starting a new run with changed probability.

@chemotaxis @tomwalkerisgood Yeah I had a look at that with the calculation using conditional expectation using only the 10 heads as a rule. Probability theory isn't my field but it gets considerably more complicated when you include the rule about increasing the number of heads if you get 10 tails first.
