18 year-old German midfielder Lennart Karl will miss the #FIFAWorldCup after suffering a muscle tear in training earlier today.

The teenager recorded 17 goal contributions in 40 appearances in all competitions for Bayern Munich this season and became the youngest goal scorer in Champions League history.

RB Leipzig midfielder Assan Ouedraogo is set to replace Karl in the German squad.
