My Rome May recap is liiiive over the on 'stack!!
This one, of course, gets things started with my #1 prospect in the system, Cam Caminiti.
Let's take a moment to s/o Isaac Gallegos, who is the most underrated arm in the system. Seriously.
Enjoy!

@wiljohnson22 Very true. Daysbel slipped my mind since he's graduated prospect status. But he should've been in the bullpen plans this year if he performed at all to his talent levels.
I want to see some more buzz around Isaac Gallegos.
He's been one of the better arms in the system so far this season. Certainly on the bump to Columbus short list, and should probably be moved past the likes of Joseph and Lara.
@IanBloss Definitely! The Braves love them some catching prospects (Brick) and I just dont see how they leave the 1st round w/o a college bat+HS pitcher combo. Id love for Contreras to end up in a Braves uni
Andrelton Simmons was one of the best defensive shortstops ever.
But at age 32, w/ a shoulder injury, his MLB career ended. He disappeared. No explanation. No rehab/return. Just gone.
“I don’t regret it. I needed a mental break.”

AJ Smith-Shawver will be facing hitters soon, the final step before beginning a rehab assignment. He is throwing high intensity bullpen sessions currently and is not too far behind Hurston Waldrep (who made his first rehab start Monday) according to #Braves MGR Walt Weiss.
@NoogaBaseball Yeah, obviously Gil has had a lot of steam over the past year. I have no issue with him being outside of people's top 100s based on his performance this year. Good, not great so far
I am starting a four part series on potential avenues the Braves can take at the deadline! Any support/feedback will be much appreciated and the article will be linked below!
