@simonbs However, what I wanted to express above: Apple's documentation is slightly ambiguous. JSManagedValue doesn't hold a strong reference to its value. If the wrapped JSValue goes away, then JSManagedValue's value will also be nil. That's why you need to add it to the context as well.
@simonbs Very good point! JavaScriptCore has a method to do the garbage collection immediately. But this method is not public, unfortunately.
When I update my example to use it, I can see the behavior which you are describing: https://t.co/QBQrddwgVs
That's why I built a little app which will remove all tracking parameters whenever you use the sharing functionality in iOS.
When the sharing dialogue appears, select "Share without Tracking". It will remove all tracking and then immediately show the sharing dialogue again.

When you share a tweet, the URL copied contains a parameter ?t=XYZ. This is the encoded user ID of the person who shared this tweet (aka your user ID). Twitter can track this way who views the link that you shared elsewhere.
To maintain privacy, manually delete this parameter.
There's this beautiful moment while building software when you can express new functionality with the existing building blocks. There's no need to introduce new things.Everything falls in place. Your past abstractions are all that's needed to express the new problem. It's magical.
@icanzilb The German name of this flower is "Herbstzeitlose". The etymology of this name means something like "spring flower which blossoms at the wrong time in autumn".
So in a way, the name of the flower exactly describes the feeling of your tweet which I think is beautiful.
It was quite a journey with quite some problems. But I'm looking forward to no longer maintain a full development environment and dependencies only to manage another development environment and dependencies.
Today we finished the migration of the WestwingNow app from CocoaPods to Swift Package Manager. I created the first notes on how to migrate in December 2019.
Finally, a lot of planning and even more execution comes to an end.
