@PONY_Official The average house cost in US is $500 K. So... they paid their house off. That means the average recipient has $0 to pay bills. What they expect is the govt to honor its commitment. They dont need to raise taxes on you to do that. They can lower costs and end inflation.

@idobadtakes It does not pay for early retirement and most certainly doesnt cover flying anywhere. It doesnt cover groceries and it doesnt cover medical care. It merely contributes towards those items. Welfare recipients, that never paid in, receive far more.

@theschmidtshow Im Gen X & also blessed. Many boomers worked all their lives & cant afford groceries/meds. It's wrong to cut off those that paid & are too old to work. People that never paid into our system reap the benefits of living in this country. We shouldnt penalize those that did..

@Alexisfire1991 Then we agree... smaller govt, end the fed, end the fraud. Im not a boomer... Im Gen X. I just dont believe you can tell people that are too old to work that you will cut them off at this age. Many cant afford groceries or meds. We can slowly eliminate SS... and help the young.
