I'm having a lot of trouble balancing my job, studies, and reading the stuff I actually want to read. When I was a factory wagie, reading was relaxing, but now that my job is more "intellectually" taxing, I'm having trouble forcing myself to read nonschool related material.
Strange how modern people, so soft and effeminate in matters of violence, will often side animals over people, esp. when the animal is cute. The medievals, by contrast, would have put the striped fucker on trial, given him legal rep, tortured him and then pulped him with hammers.
A man has jumped into a tiger enclosure at The Yorkshire Wildlife park!
No reports yet, as to whether he survived or not, apart from gun shots were fired & the park has been closed with heavy police & ambulance presence 🤦🏾♀️
I don’t even want to ask, how or why?

@neojedjdp@posta_octavian The first chapter is literally just Hegel kicking sand into Pufendorf and Grotius’s faces, damn. Trampling on their sandcastles. Pufi doesn't deserve such bullying 😢
It's chimney sweeping season again, and I hate every minute of it. I should have slaves to do this for me. Honestly, I should have slaves to do everything. Then again, maybe I was just meant to be a city slicker.
The entire process of drafting the Iranian constitution is available on youtube, with every session fully transcribed. I don’t even know how I ended up on this side of youtube.
A workplace assembly has been established in LEGO City! Don't forget, children! Every brown minifig gets a free mini Quran if you also buy their whole extended with them!
@ahowlingchoir There are workplace assemblies forming in France, with the CGT pushing for them to coordinate with the student movement. Spain is seeing worker involvement through the unions too, but neither has seen development into independent workers’ or student-worker councils.
Paris Commune 1871: a municipal government in waiting claiming sovereignty, of men willing & above all capable (kinda) of measured violence.
PC 2026: an unincorporated (for now) civil soc. org of students mad the state can't assure them the middle-class life they were promised.
Do you guys remember when, during one of the anti-ICE chimpouts, there was a stubby 4'11 Mexican saying boilerplate Trotskyist babble and all the kids on lefttwtr were like, "La revolución is happening, the conditions are ripening!"
If you're fighting cops and not the army, that's a sign you're not a serious contender for power. You're just appealing to Daddy Democracy, and he didn't feel like sparing the rod.
These protests are signs of the state's total and all-encompassing victory. You could have 80% of a country's population out in the streets chimping out and it wouldn't mean anything. Just because you bargain violently doesn't mean you are beyond respectable bourgeois politics.
