🎥| Please do take the time to watch the FULL video of Steven Spielberg inducting Taylor into the Songwriters Hall of Fame! It’s nothing short of magnificent which comes as no surprise since he’s one of the best storytellers in history!
Keep in mind, this is an example of a lot of the scouting reports written about players that will be drafted tonight and over the next couple days. To all of you guys about to be picked or go undrafted, know that they are written by people who are incapable of fully understanding your potential, and that few things will bring you a greater smile than reading these reports at the end of a career that far exceeds the limitations within them.
Good luck Boys, welcome to the League
Travis Kelce has a busy summer coming up, but coach Andy Reid said Tuesday he expected Kelce will be at the team's mandatory minicamp in early June. "The mandatory part, I'm sure he'll be there. He doesn't like to miss much."
A few nuggets I've gathered:
Travis Kelce is not what he once was as a player. And that's fine. Over the last couple of years he's figured out how to still get open. Winning early in routes. Being smarter in how he plays and gets open by using his FB IQ. He knows he doesn’t move like he used to, so he's found ways to create space for himself by never wasting a step or movement. Still has the unique ability to make those around him better. He still has the ability to find ways to make big plays on the biggest stages. His intangibles are worth so much on the field and in the locker room. He practices so hard. It’s contagious. You have to practice a certain way with Mahomes, and he spreads that throughout the pass catchers. Whatever he decides to do, Travis Kelce still brings so much value.
@mattderrick@mattderrick i know you think the chiefs should use less of trav but given his productivity and effectiveness why not keep feeding him when it still works?
