We are so proud of Nursery pupils for performing their Christmas Nativity. They sang so beautifully and told us the story of the very first Christmas. ⭐️
On Friday, some of our school choir visited @LightbownehallA where we sang christmas carols to the residents. We were even treated to a wonderful hot chocolate afterwards. 🎄
Year 2W had an amazing morning making Christmas Crafts together.
'We made tree ornaments, hanging Nativity Baubles, Christmas themed plates & lanterns.'
It was heart-warming to see the children working with their adults. It was a very Festive morning, filled with glitter and fun.
On Friday, our Caritas ambassadors held their Care Drive, as they do every half term.
We are so grateful for all the kind donations we received which all helped our families in need.

Our year 5/6 excel football team went to a tournament last Thursday and played some exceptional football - 6 games in total. There were some great goals from the boys and fantastic saves ⚽️
Well done especially to
Jesse - 'Man of the Match'
Cheta - 'Defender of the tournament'
KS1 had a great time on family day, celebrating our diversity. 'We enjoyed learning about one another's home countries & cultures. We sang national anthems, used atlases to find their home countries and learned about national sports. We are so lucky to have a diverse community.'
Our Caritas Ambassadors would like to thank everyone who kindly donated items to our Harvest Collection 🍂
Together we collected 60.2Kg for @McrFoodbank
This will provide 9 x 3 Day Emergency Food Parcels or 81 meals. 🧡

Today Year 3L visited @McrMuseum , they had a fantastic time completing the 'Time Odyssey' and helping missing characters find their place in the timeline.
Recently, KS1 had a visit from Portland Basin Museum's Toys in Time box. The children had a great time playing with toys from the past and learning about the toys our parents & grandparents played with. We have continued learning all about how toys have changed through time. 🧸
Today, to celebrate #WorldMentalHealthDay all pupils were invited to wear brightly coloured bows, bobbles and socks. We also thought it was a great opportunity to launch our @myHappymind_ parent app! ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
