Today, we remember a legend.
On this day in history, Harambe would have celebrated another birthday. An icon that became part of internet history, American culture, and an entire generation’s timeline.
Tomorrow marks 10 years since we lost him. Ten years since the moment the world stopped scrolling and collectively mourned something bigger than a meme.
He became a symbol of loyalty, strength, chaos, unity, and the strange beauty of the internet bringing millions of people together for one cause: never forgetting Harambe.
Everyone remembers where they were when they heard the news. And somehow, a decade later, his legacy still lives on.
Gone, but never forgotten.
Rest easy to a true patriot. 🕊️🇺🇸

Forever in our hearts.
I wish all of you a safe and Happy Memorial Day. I always have respect for the soldiers who go out and sacrifice their time, energy and lives for us. 🇺🇸🫡

"Wanna buy some strawberries?"
"N-no thanks. I'm looking for honey."
"Good luck. You'll need it."
"What do you mean. Why can't I see you. Where is everyone else?"
@cheascake Getting a debit card for the first time around 16, you start asking questions like "which hole does it go in? which way do I insert it?" and I think those are powerful learning moments man needs to go through to learn
Every time Trump survives an assassination attempt he enters a kind of zen fugue state where he transcends his usual belligerence and radiates unearthly serenity. "I wasn't worried," he said after this last one. "I understand life. We live in a crazy world." In this photo he looks like the speaker of Yeats's "Lake Isle of Innisfree," gazing dreamily into the respite that awaits him when at last his labor on this earth is done.
"Nine bean-rows will I have there, a hive for the honey-bee,
And live alone in the bee-loud glade."
This usually lasts about a week before he goes back to thundering obscenities at his enemies and wishing hellfire upon them at the merest provocation.
