Happy 1st anniversary, Mark Carney!
-Deficit doubled
-Highest food inflation in the G7
-2nd highest unemployment in the G7
-No pipelines approved
-Homebuilding dropping 15%
-Immigration system still broken
-Violent crime skyrocketing in our major cities
A year later, illusion meets reality. Congratulations, sir, you’re just another Liberal.
Carbon dioxide (CO₂) is not “pollution.”
All science is numbers, so here are some numbers for you, Congresswoman.
CO₂ makes up only 0.04% of the Earth's atmosphere. For every 1 million molecules of air, about 428 of them are CO₂. That is, 4 out of every 10,000. A century ago, it was 0.03%.
Despite the increase due to fossil fuel combustion, CO₂ is minimally toxic by inhalation. In fact, the OSHA Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL) is 5,000 parts per million by volume (ppmv) for an eight-hour period of exposure. But, for most people, breathing is not at all an issue at levels as high as 10,000 ppm. At levels exceeding 30,000 ppm, we start to run into problems.

However, the atmospheric CO₂ level is currently 428 ppmv, and the concentration has only been as high as 7,000 ppm within the last 600 million years.

We do not have enough coal and oil reserves left to tap into, extract resources from, refine into petroleum products, and burn for energy to get the atmospheric CO₂ level anywhere remotely close to OHSA's PEL of 5,000 ppmv, much less a third of that.
So, absolutely no one is getting ill because of the tiny increase in outdoor environmental CO₂ level over the last 175 years.
By all accounts, we are doing great.
1⃣ Average life expectancy has more than doubled on every inhabited continent since the mid-19th century.
2⃣ Child mortality rate has fallen by more than 75% on every continent since 1970.

There is no humanitarian crisis because of rising CO₂ levels.
As far as extreme weather is concerned, apart from extreme heat (in most regions) and some types of drought (which is largely due to land use, not climate change), there hasn't really been an increase in their frequency or intensity since the 1950s.
The biggest factor responsible for the rising home insurance and disaster costs is increased placement of wealth in high-risk, disaster-prone areas such as the Florida coastline (hurricanes) or Mediterranean California (fires), not climate change (Pielke, 2024).

If you want to regulate CO₂ emissions, then do your damn job and introduce some legislation to amend the Clean Air Act, then call on your colleagues to vote on it. As a Representative, you have the ability to do that.
🇨🇦 - Definition of stupid = voting for Liberals thinking that the Liberals policies & economic agendas are good for our citizens, our future & will make our country better. Real world data proves climate crisis is a scam & that the liberal carbon tax is not needed
