@jasssyzhang@abouelatta_ali I just want to know whey the year ended in November, when I still had a month of the year (ya know, December) left to go. Next year, maybe roll that feature out the week between Christmas and New Years?
@Amideee@abouelatta_ali I'm pretty sure that's why they enabled streak freezes. It feels kinda like cheating, but it's also nice to know that falling asleep exhausted once won't penalize me too much.
@Toastid @Ms_PamULA @ABC When I had long hair, my braids would get searched/fondled/manipulated to make sure there wasn't anything in them.
I don't remember the last time i flew with a bun, so can't comment on that.
I agree that POC are held to stricter TSA standards, and it is wholely unreasonable!
@bluegrass1111 No. I don't even let people who have smoked recently in my house.
My pet-sitter showers before coming over so his smoke-smell doesn't hurt me.
It might seem extreme, but i have reasons... And it's my. house.
@kimberrussell As someone who has volunteered in rescue, I totally understand your frustration. The mental hoops some rescues do to justify their gatekeeping is totally mindboggling to me. (& they're the same ones who immediately condemn someone who buys a dog *after* being rejected...)
@Ninnin_xo I work in tech support, with a good team, for an organization that provides a benefit to the community. I've worked in tech supprt for a long time, and it's fulfilling for me, but the team and the organization make it so I look forward to interacting with them every day.
@kimberrussell I totally get that. I went from blond to red in 2020, and walk ing past a mirror was a shock everytime. (And then i went really short and dark, and now its growing out again.)
@kimberrussell Yes! I even walked up two flights of stairs this morning without needing my inhaler! My only residual (that i can tell) is that i cant regulate my own temp. Im either freezing or roasting.
@Dominik_S_D @awesomebrandi Autism is only statistically more prevalent in boys, because it is more easily diagnosed in boys. The same holds true for children with ADHD; boys are more likely to be dx'd than girls because their symptoms are more disruptive, and most girls suffer quietly.
@kimberrussell It took about a month for me to not need my inhaler daily. I still have a slight residual cough, and my day 1 was May 6. Love & hugs & get-well wishes for your mom.
