I’m not Jewish, but there’s a reason that I’ve risked everything to speak up for the Jewish community.
And when I say everything, I mean everything. I mean being blocked by friends that I grew up with, unfollowed by most friends and associates, accused of being a spy for the Mossad, IRGC, CIA etc, having my family accused of the same and having their lives put at risk to the extent of having to contact the FBI, being subjected to unthinkable smears, conspiracies, and rumors that are intended to blacklist me from everywhere and by everyone, but I still speak up despite it all, you know why?
Because the same time that Jews had to watch their children being shot and kidnapped on October 7
Is the same time they had to watch half the world protest against the existence of their tiny Jewish state that is their only refuge from global genocide
Is the same time they had to watch their friends, associates, celebrities, and the world’s body politic post paragliders in celebration of their massacre
Is the same time they had to watch their synagogues go up in flames amid renewed pogroms in Europe
Is the same time they had to be banned and blacklisted as persona non gratas of the world by trading the word “Jews” for “Zionists”
Is the same time they had to be pushed back by human chains on college campuses and beaten unconscious for defying chants for their death
Is the same time they had to watch a mentally ill rapper tell millions of his followers that he loves Hitler and supports the Holocaust
Is the same time they had to watch the likes of Dan Bilzerian, Candace Owens, Jake Shields, and the rest of the “woke right” claim “Jewish supremacy” is the world’s biggest problem by citing obscure texts of the Talmud & claiming to “seek truth” while regurgitating antisemitic Soviet disinformation to justify their persecution
Is the same time they had to watch the woke left claim that the victims of Islamist extremism deserved the October 7 horrors because their grandparents who fled Nazi Germany back to Palestine in refugee boats were actually “white colonizers”
All while the world looks on and glibly asks, “what antisemitism?”
That’s why I speak up.
The most important thing I’ve realized is that nobody can take from you what doesn’t belong to them.
They can silence, intimidate, threaten, and accuse you, but they can never take away the power of your voice when it bellows into the scorched earth the last hopeful, fragmented glimmers of truth.
That belongs to you and nobody else, and in our lifetime, it may never be more important than now.
@JohnGal81750537@PalMediaOrg One that is actually a genocide. The type that the population decreases instead of increases. One that the people they claim have been killed aren’t just women and children and zero men of fighting age. One that isn’t pushed by Hamas as a tactic to get useful idiots to drool over
.@beaybl why can't you deliver to Israel, but you can somehow deliver to the Palestinian territories? they would have to come through israel to reach there! Do you know the market you are missing out on? an entire nation of fit people who work out constantly!
@koshercockney@Jacob_Rees_Mogg@cenkuygur as usual, he's a blowhorn of false information, and then trying to be concerned that Jacob is in fact the antisemite?! The audacity!!
@TommyV1888@TheIrishIsraeli@owenjonesjourno look at the end of the transaltion. it says Today is the death of Hapoel!
Today is the death of Hapoel...
As far as i know, Hapoel are not arabs. Context matters
@jeremycorbyn It's more of an issue that @sxsw invited these antisemitic clowns! bc that's what they are... It's nothing to do with Israel, and you know it!
@owenjonesjourno So you make a statement, create the image on canva and state it’s fact without showing proof of your claim? Seems pretty legit for Owen jones.
@HowidyHamza They should really pace themselves. They are never going to make the 26.2milr run. Unless… this is fake and all for show. But then it would go against the fake genocide. So I don’t get it. Which is it?
You may not agree with me, but you will always know where you stand with me.
Today in Billericay, a heckler tried to shout me down as I spoke about the normalisation of hatred towards Jews. I did not back down, because it needs to be said. British Jews are being targeted and too many people are pretending this is the same experience of other minorities. This lady implied Muslims are being similarly targeted. This is simply not true.
Let's be honest about what is happening. Certain groups (in particular but not solely Islamic Extremists) are creating a climate of fear and intimidation that is normalising Jew hatred. I will never stand for that. Governments have spent too long hand-wringing, making excuses and hoping it would go away. It is time to call this what it is: a national emergency in our attitude, our urgency and our response.
I will always engage with people who disagree with me. That is politics. But there is a difference between argument and intimidation. Shouting does not make a bad case good. It's done to silence others. And it certainly does not change the truth.
The truth is that British Jews have been made to feel less safe in their own country. Our country. They are being singled out, threatened and harassed in ways that should shame everyone in public life. If we do not stand up now and stop this rise in antisemitism, then why bother saying "Never Again" at Holocaust Memorial Day? Because this is how it starts.
I am not prepared to play along with the pretence that this is normal, or manageable, or just another example of tension between groups. It really is not. It is targeted hatred and it is getting worse.
So my message is simple. Not here. Not in Britain. And not on our watch. We need to stop the hand-wringing and start doing the right thing. That means standing with British Jews openly, unapologetically and without fear.
