Capitalism is all about competition. Competition stifles innovation.
Cooperation is a basic human desire for most people. A perfect example of this is looking at how people help their families.
Capitalism makes people greedy so they have enough resources to survive / thrive.
@KeeangaYamahtta - How can I, a disabled person, learn how to organize a local coalition of leftists to make politics benefit workers?
When I heard you and others on Wednesday's episode of Democracy Now, I felt encouraged. Can a dumb guy like me contribute to organizing the left

@HanSequitur@TheDeprogramPod@_SecondThought@hasanthehun I'm trying to figure out how to identify leftists in my area who want to influence politics.
I want to learn how to identify the most effective ways to make political changes happen or even help leftist candidates get elected in my town.
How can dumb people (like me) build local political coalitions to influence positions like sheriff, Mayor, superintendent of schools, etc?
I want every level of government working to reduce harm & protect the working-class people from corporate billionaire extortion.
How can we effectively engage people we know in climate change conversations when extreme weather events occur?

I was part of the DSA, but I moved away. The town I live in now is a rural red sea of misinformation and anger. I've even heard of a couple extremist militias operating around town.
@democracynow We are lucky to have people like this working to win workers rights for all๐
