I am testing Esper Affinity as a potential choice for a tournament.
At the moment, I’m getting good results vs red decks; balanced vs UB Control and UB Faeries, but I’m struggling vs Grixis, UB Terror, and Familiars.
What is the likelihood of encountering these decks?

@gas_tone18 Among these, I’ve only encountered Pingers Tron, and that went well; I haven’t run into the others yet. That aside, another option I have is to include Rally.. would that be a better choice?

@ACClark30 I agree; in the last tournament, I saw few Terrors and even fewer Familiars.

@ACClark30 After a week of testing, I’d say no; it’s better to prioritize the fastest possible start using the 4 drums. I think I’ll remove it—sacrificing the element of surprise—in order to take down the big beasts… terror ecc..
