I do get feedback and requests, but I also keep hearing "you're the best we've had in a while!" 😊 I don't take these senior gigs lightly... I learn songs they want to hear (there are many good songs from their younger years). I practice interesting ways of playing them. 2of3

*Elders deserve good music too!* I've heard this narrative of "go sing for the old people, they'll love it no matter what." 😄 While visiting w/ music might brighten their day, that is not entirely true… they may be kind, but they're not tone deaf and without preference. 🤪 1of3

4 months ago today, we fulfilled Grandma's wish of singing Ave Maria and other favorites at her funeral.

These were the same hymns she used to listen to on the CD we made for her. No idea how we got through singing. I have to believe angels were present with us and with her.
