Dr. Cynthia Hawkins has been awarded $300K through @OICR_news’ Cancer Therapeutics Innovation Pipeline to improve survival rates of children with brain cancer.
Her research aims to develop a new drug or small molecule that can destroy diffuse midline glioma (DMG) cancer cells👇
An incredible evening at the @braincancercan gala! Dr. Hawkins, Hawkins’ lab member Stefanie-Grace and members of the BTRC were in attendance. As well Dr @JamesRutka presented as the keynote speaker, providing hope and inspiration, enlightening us all on the impact of this work.
