This weekend Dr Hawkins and PhD student Stefanie-Grace had the chance to attend and speak @NeuroOnc annual meeting in Houston! It was incredible hearing about the great work and progress in the field 🧬🔬

Dr. Cynthia Hawkins has been awarded $300K through @OICR_news’ Cancer Therapeutics Innovation Pipeline to improve survival rates of children with brain cancer.

Her research aims to develop a new drug or small molecule that can destroy diffuse midline glioma (DMG) cancer cells👇
