Terribile
@AtiteSnr@Hackerslord_24@RedHatPentester That would be like forcing an unwanted athlete to do his whole preparation in Mexico, away from the top quality facilities available for all his mates/rivals who are all based in Miami, and expect him to guarantee the same officiating standards. A bit unfair, isn't it?
@alista_mapa@dantechristo@UDemeribe@FIFAWorldCup You may find it astonishing, but the truth is that a lot of people do really think that a ref just goes to the stadium, officiates and then goes back home. No training, seminaries, formation involved.
@taipeitimes@BBCSport That's for the US to decide. Very good. So it's acceptable that a country hosting the world cup does not give permission to certain teams to compete?
@CharlieBoyy00@pavyg I might understand that in football, where you earn your wage even if you're injured. But if you are a tennis player, and you get money only when you play, ignoring an injury that could have serious consequences (long stops) and playing over it is almost suicidal.
@pavyg Suddenly? You're joking, right? There were plenty of signals, and he went on playing for a couple of games even when his staff explicitly told him that stopping would be better.
@CharlieBoyy00@pavyg Have you seen the match before leaving a comment, at least? Berrettini was progressively collapsing. What good would carrying on playing do to him?
