No longer in college like when I posted this, and currently job hunting once again so I have some time… should I just bite the bullet and dive headfirst into sewing a mockup and redesign AS I GO? Local cosplay community is like “why are you a normie AGAIN this year???”

@SirMelanfri I had to redesign some elements because I realized once drafting pattern pieces, the bodice wouldn’t work out irl, and the colors needed some reworking to not be chaotic. Which is a tricky fix without taking away the “Midna” vibes. I want nothing more than to finally sew this 😭

@SirMelanfri In hindsight, it was an Icarus move during college, but it absolutely ISNT abandoned. The final design is in one of those development loops that never end…

And Joann’s is gone so it very hard to find the right fabrics. :(

@OrwellNGoode Also stuff on flash drives gets corrupted all the time, most of my college projects actually got messed up somehow and I just barely managed to save my final projects. Thank goodness I had multiple formats saved, but I couldn’t bring back any of the mid-drafts…

@OrwellNGoode I was always taught to never trust the internet (or even saving on the cloud) with personal data because it can either be hacked or corrupted. Never use a debit card online unless it’s indirect like PayPal or something because it’s all the more steps to gain that info
