OTD in 2020 we lost Goldfinger golden girl in titles/Bond masseuse ‘Dink’, sixties icon Maggie Nolan to cancer.
Always a thought spared for her on Bond day as we were in touch for quite a few years.

@sdedition More arrogant negativity for the CD. For many the CD isn’t just for the car!
CD (in the U.K. ) to date has sold more units than vinyl. It’s hardly dying.
I’m sure if researched, a new car will have a CD option. If not, Bluetooth or Aux connections to CD players can be done.

OTD in 1964, the gala premiere of #Goldfinger took place.
It marked the 1st. film role for 21 yr old #MargaretNolan launching a career that spanned many films.
She was the face of the film on posters, merch & in the title sequence. The small role of ‘Dink’ was part of the deal.

@DiscsCompact CD. I buy vinyl too but we have forgotten how to manufacture it properly so quality control is a big issue.
Pops & clicks, cleaning & general care for vinyl is an unnecessary faff to put up with when CD presents none of those problems.
Why put up with a 75-100 year old format?
