It was brought in by Premier Lougheed to offer people with disabilities a “guaranteed income”. Individuals have always been allowed to work while on AISH and could earn 1072 before a clawback.

@JasonNixonAB you claim Albertans on AISH shouldn’t have to prove their disability again for the CDB, so why are you forcing 77,000 Albertans to once again prove they qualify for AISH when you boot them onto ADAP? You do not advocate for disabled Albertans, only for your party to take the $.

@JasonNixonAB This is nothing short of cruel. Filled with fancy rhetoric about “gainful employment”, “fulfilling careers”, “full potential”. Supports for most people on AISH will drop unless they can magically find employment. This has nothing to do with empowering just crushing spirits.

Getting supplies for these mysterious pumps will now cost extra $ for insurance and co-pays. The new pumps rely on CGM’s which are only funded for those under 18. Big fat lies!
