This is a great piece on the demise of the B&B Hotels team from @petercossins
So glad to see the @lacourseentete website coming back to life with some brilliant content.

Many thanks to all of you who supported the launch of Stelvio magazine. The core attributes of creativity, insight and integrity that were the basis of the magazine have not been lost. They will now continue elsewhere.
I reckon if you chased another driver down, rammed them off the road, dragged them from their car and assaulted them all with an accomplice along to conspire with you'd get more than a suspended jail sentence
@bryankirby1 Hi Bryan, it's a stylistic choice really, in keeping with many other magazines. The text is pretty self-explanatory and there are also descriptive/informative pull quotes. We want the images to be able to stand alone as they're equally important.
Great racing in the last of the Trittico Lombardo races, the women's and men's #TreValleVaresine
as featured in Issue 2 of @StelvioMag along with the other quality autumn races in northern Italy
@John321XYZ @jeremycwhittle That's not really a 'small' race and is also very well-established and with a strong history. It seems to be more of a problem in territories lacking a long-standing culture of stage racing.
Too many races, too little time...@StelvioMag #2
"..some of these races are dangerous: under-funded and badly organises... Will cycling grow more through a proliferation of badly-run races or through a limited number of spectacular and safer high-end events?"
@BriSmithy "...all too often the minimum standards for safety and course design fall short....riders don't want to race in some of these events, but they are in a bind...their sponsors expect.."
@StelvioMag Issue #2 on the overcrowded calendar
"The Danish took Vingegaard to their hearts. And they trust him, showing up in tens of thousands in central Copenhagen to applaud him in the days after his win..."
@larswerge details the Jonas Vingegaard phenomenon in Issue #2 of @StelvioMag
"..the handful of underrated one-day races leading up to Il Lombardia also offer a chance to experience the full flavour of the region's culture..."
@petercossins profiles the late season Italian classics for Issue #2 of @StelvioMag
"...the Montgenevre's hairpins were smooth and regular, like the ticking of a clock. It's not a pass, it's a welcoming committee and it's Italy that's extending it's arms out to you..."
Alain Servan-Puiseux on the @Chilkootcdp Voyage en Italie in Issue #2 of @StelvioMag
"...there is no sporting activity where 'duende' is more apparent than on the mountain stages of the world's most prestigious and challenging road races..."
A powerful extract from @petercossins new book 'Climbers,' published in Issue #2 of @StelvioMag
