⚖️Justice should be inclusive and responsive.
@UNDP Amkeni Wakenya is at the forefront of making this a reality by supporting paralegals, CSOs, human rights defenders, and local leaders to help communities claim their rights.
Our recent partner training focused on shaping a safer, more accountable digital environment by building capacity on leveraging digital and AI tools for inclusive governance.

#AccessToJustice #JusticeForAll
In Kenya, access to justice is being redefined one case at a time. This mini-documentary highlights the transformative role of the Small Claims Court. This people-centered innovation is making justice quicker, simpler, and more affordable, particularly for those most economically vulnerable.
Through powerful stories from Mombasa and other regions, we see how everyday citizens are reclaiming their rights, resolving conflicts, and rebuilding trust in the justice system. Supported by @UNDP and partners such as @KituoSheria and @S4JMombasa, the court enables thousands to settle claims for as little as KES 2,000 within 60 days.
From digital filing systems to grassroots outreach, this is justice in motion.
🙏 @NLinKenya@Kenyajudiciary
In Kinango, #SGBV survivors incur cost of Ksh. 11,800 & travel up to 104 km for justice. Poverty & poor infrastructure make justice unattainable.

The session was attended by the adjudicators, the Deputy Registrar, and Chief Magistrates at Mombasa Law Courts.
To further strengthen the court's efficiency, UNDP Amkeni Wakenya generously donated electronic devices to support the registry and enhance access to justice.
