@Angela_Watson I quit taking work home 6 years ago when I had a baby Occasionally I’ll write lesson plans on the weekend/evening. Sometimes I struggle with grading in a timely manner, but I don’t regret it at all! It all gets done eventually, and I’m able to focus on home when I’m home!

@scrappnlisa My dad has a good observation last week. Every time Justice says he is “looking at” doing something on a weekend, he does it the following Monday. I’ll be interested to see if his theory holds true. It should’ve been shut down and restaurants back to carry out weeks ago 🤷♀️
am I understanding this correctly? covid-19 is so deadly that Paul Manafort and Michael Cohen had to be released from prison early, but it's also so benign that we need to be packing the nation's children back into their schools pronto? ok cool, that checks out
Students buy into teachers who are genuine and honest.
Admitting you don't know an answer or allowing a student to correct your mistakes go a long way in building a connected classroom.
@mommawells3589 Thank you for the kind words! I feel like I’m riding the struggle bus more days than not. But even on those days, I know the few kids who show up, show up for a reason! I’ve had good role models to learn from!
