ON INFRASTRUCTURE
President Tinubu’s administration has made unprecedented investments in infrastructural development across various sectors, over the past three years, building on a trend started by his predecessor, President @MBuhari.
On Roads:
There is no single state today where the administration is not building at least one major highway. This includes the four legacy projects of Mr President that are set to change the economic landscapes of the beneficiary states such as; Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway, Sokoto-Badagry Superhighway, Trans-Saharan Highway which cuts across Calabar-Abuja and the Akwanga-Gombe Expressway.
On Education:
President Tinubu’s administration is investing heavily in infrastructure upgrades across tertiary institutions with a recent release of N4bn to selected institutions for investments in laboratories, engineering and technology facilities etc. The administration is also helping many institutions to exit the national grid through investments in mini-grid projects.
On Health:
In 2025, the administration commissioned 3 major oncology centers across the country.
The upgrade of Primary Health Centres across the 774LGs have also commenced while work is ongoing on the construction of 8,800 new PHCs across the country.
On Housing:
Over 10,000 housing projects have been completed so far within 3 years while thousands are still being constructed under the Renewed Hope Estate and Renewed Hope Cities Program.
These and other infrastructural strides are expected to significantly improve standards of living of Nigerians, contribute to economic development and create thousands of jobs for Nigerians.

STATE POLICE CONSTITUTIONAL FRAMEWORK NEAR COMPLETION- PRESIDENCY
Significant progress has been made towards establishing state police, with a constitutional amendment expected soon, following months of consultations among the Executive, the National Assembly and security authorities.
The Chief of Staff to the President, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, disclosed this on Thursday while briefing State House Correspondents after a consultative meeting on state police convened by the Presidency, held at the State House, Abuja.
Gbajabiamila said deliberations on the proposed state police framework began several months ago following a directive by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, noting that the process has gained considerable traction.
He explained that establishing state police requires careful consideration of constitutional and legal issues and cannot be implemented hastily.
"We started deliberations in the last three or four months on how to go about the establishment of state police as directed by Mr President.
"Establishing state police is not something that you do with the snap of the fingers. There is a lot involved in terms of constitution and legalities, and thank God we have now gained a lot of traction.
“Hopefully, the amendment will come shortly, and the details of the amendment will come after that," Gbajabiamila added.
According to him, discussions have now advanced to the point of considering the necessary constitutional amendments, with the enabling legislation to follow afterwards.
"Right now, what we are looking at is the constitutional amendment itself, and then the enabling law would follow thereafter. That is what we have been deliberating on in the last couple of hours," he added.
The Chief of Staff highlighted broad national support for the initiative, emphasising that the debate is no longer about whether state police should be establishedbut about creating the appropriate legal and institutional framework for its operation.
He said President Tinubu, who has consistently advocated for state police as part of efforts to strengthen Nigeria's security architecture, would receive a comprehensive report on the meeting's outcome.
The meeting is part of a series of consultations convened by the Federal Government to develop a workable framework for the establishment of state police, an initiative aimed at strengthening internal security, improving local intelligence gathering and enhancing the capacity of sub-national governments to address emerging security challenges across the country.
President Tinubu has maintained in the last few months that state police is a necessary response to Nigeria's evolving security challenges, advocating that a decentralised policing structure would strengthen grassroots security, enhance intelligence gathering and improve the protection of lives and property across the country.
The meeting was attended by the Deputy President of the Senate, Jibrin Barau, the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Benjamin Kalu and the Inspector-General of Police, Tunji Disu, among other senior government officials.

BREAKING: FG Finalises State Police Framework, Constitutional Changes Imminent
The Presidency has announced that Nigeria is nearing the completion of a constitutional framework for the establishment of state police, following months of high-level consultations among key government stakeholders.
Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, disclosed this on Thursday while briefing State House correspondents after a consultative meeting convened at the Presidential Villa in Abuja. He stated that discussions initiated on the directive of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu have made significant progress and are now approaching the constitutional amendment stage.
Gbajabiamila explained that the move to establish state police involves complex constitutional and legal considerations, noting that the process cannot be rushed. According to him, deliberations over the past three to four months have focused on developing a viable framework, with growing consensus among stakeholders.
He indicated that attention is currently centred on drafting the constitutional amendment required to legalise state policing, while enabling legislation will follow subsequently. He added that details of the amendment would be made public once finalised.
The Chief of Staff further noted that national discourse has shifted from debating the necessity of state police to addressing the legal and institutional mechanisms needed for its implementation. He emphasised that there is now broad-based support for the initiative across government levels.
President Tinubu, who has consistently advocated for decentralised policing as part of efforts to reform Nigeria’s security architecture, is expected to receive a comprehensive report on the outcome of the meeting. The initiative is aimed at enhancing internal security, strengthening local intelligence systems, and empowering sub-national governments to respond more effectively to security challenges.
The consultative meeting forms part of ongoing engagements by the Federal Government to develop a workable state police model. Advocates of the reform argue that decentralised policing will improve grassroots security, facilitate faster response to threats, and better protect lives and property nationwide.
Those in attendance at the meeting included Deputy Senate President Jibrin Barau, Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Benjamin Kalu, Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice Lateef Fagbemi, and Inspector-General of Police Tunji Disu, alongside other senior government officials.

Today in Umuahia, we gathered once again as leaders and stakeholders of our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), to deliberate ahead of our Primary Elections, set to commence this weekend.
It was truly a symbolic yet fulfilling moment as we all affirmed the tremendous growth we have achieved collectively as a party. This was the objective we set out to achieve three years ago, and I am glad that brick by brick, we have built a party we can all truly be proud of. Our party has garnered strength not just to deliver President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, but also candidates across all elective positions in the state.
While applauding all aspirants who took the audacious step of purchasing their nomination forms to fly the party flag at various levels, I also urged all them not to let the outcome of the primaries jeopardise what we have collectively achieved these past few months.
I reiterated that no candidate will be automatically granted a ticket, all candidates will go through either of the two valid pathways: Consensus or Direct Primaries.
Our unity and growth have been anchored on dialogue, agreement, and understanding, and this is the moment we need it most as we forge ahead. I encourage all stakeholders to put our collective goal ahead of personal interest as we embark on this journey together.
I extend my sincere gratitude to the former Governor of Abia State and Senator representing the Abia North Senatorial District, Sen. Orji Uzor Kalu; the former Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Rt. Hon. Nkeiru Onyejeocha; as well as other leaders of our party in the state who contributed to the success of this meeting.
It is indeed a new dawn for our party in the state, and our victory in the forthcoming elections is not in doubt.
