New baby giraffe born early this morning is sleepy but doing well! Care team says mom Tessa is calm and attentive and a super mom! In 2018, giraffes were listed as Vulnerable. Populations are suffering from habitat loss, trophy hunting, illegal poaching & war-stricken habitat.
