“When I heard that we’re putting $30 million in, bringing Gil Hanse in, all these thoughts and feelings arose of, wow, it’s finally going to get the attention it deserves. The university finally sees its value,” says James Nicholas, a member of the Yale Class of 2019 and a current pro golfer on the Korn Ferry Tour. “Then, for them to drop the ball, that doesn’t surprise me.”

The Yale Golf Course just got a $30 million Gil Hanse restoration.

Now, Yale is charging $350 for the public to play…with poor and patchy turf conditions.

So, what happened?

I’m sure there are many things I disagree with Bryson on, but in this case… if this is a penalty, there’s probably at least one player a week that should also be penalized for the same thing.

People will think I'm crazy for this take, but I'm a big believer in the psychological impact of narratives on teams. Yes, Belgium looked so much better tonight and we looked lost. But this team had a boatload of good vibes behind them, and in the last 48 hours that vanished, and replacing it was a story of implicit political corruption that turned them into the bad guys, or at least the beneficiary of the corruption. You can't tell me that doesn't put pressure on the team, change the vibe, and take a psychological toll that impacted what happened on the field. American fans, serious and casual, should be pissed at this interference. We overturned a red card and our reward was losing what made this team so much fun until now.

Love this setup and having a sim practically in my building! And I (finally) ordered some new hybrids and fairway woods and was able to test them today - wouldn’t have had the opportunity to do so until the next time I played in the past 🙌

Dude just showed up handing out pizzas, people cheering each other on to close down the street, everyone scooching over to make room for one more … never seen more love and unity. #knicksinfive
