We are deeply saddened by the passing of @JoanAmek the beloved Executive Director of @RellaWFug
Her feminist leadership, courage and commitment to womxnโs rights will not be forgotten. We stand in solidarity with her loved ones and the entire Rella Womxnโs Foundation community.
Misinformation and disinformation online arenโt random mistakes or harmless rumors theyโre intentional tactics used by anti-rights and anti-gender actors to discredit feminist, queer, and political organizing that challenges power.

We are counting down to the International Day of Older Persons 2025 #IDOP2025, celebrated every year on October 1. This yearโs global theme is โOlder Persons Driving Local and Global Action: Our Aspirations, Our Well-Being, Our Rights.โ
Across the world, older persons are shaping communities in powerful ways, through their experiences, their knowledge, and their resilience. Yet their voices are often overlooked, especially in todayโs fast-changing digital era.
As we begin this week of reflection, learning, and action, we ask: What role do you think older persons play in shaping the digital future? Share your thoughts and join the conversation.

The court delivered the summary judgment, declining to nullify Uganda's anti-homosexuality law. We disagree with the findings but look forward to receiving their detailed reasoning and consulting on our next steps.
To base a decision on public sentiments, purported cultural values, and unfounded/unsubstantiated allegations of recruitment into homosexuality is strange, to say the least.
You come to court expecting it to rise above public bigotry and sentiments. To that extent, it is a letdown, but we will see what next steps can be taken.
