@Gametrailzers It’s not so much marketing the console but more so the games. They suck at marketing and messaging in general (historically) but it’s the games that pull in the customers to a console. They also need to prioritize showing those games only on their console.
@AthenaPortly@NextGenPlayer Yeah most don’t care that much, they’ll hang to their old console if it’s that important. They’ll go where the games that they want to play are and/or where their friends play. Same as it always was. Fangirls have spent years saying old games don’t matter to Xbox gamers lol
@RedGamingTech@mrpeace360@rgamingleaks Actually it’s verifiable. Sharma posted a pic of her post E-Day video speech being recorded on X two weeks before the show
@61Devlin@DeekeTweak True but it is rare given that the deal was approved internationally mostly without any major concessions and even the cloud concession that was set has been adhered to. The one that everyone in the community talked about (COD), had zero restrictions.
@61Devlin@DeekeTweak It’s kind of a moot point now. ABK deal was approved and outside of the cloud concessions and their 10 year contractual agreements with Sony and Nintendo, MS can do whatever its wants with ABK IP. They have over 220 IP’s to leverage in the future, they will take advantage of it.
@GreggC_CC@DeekeTweak I’d say it’s more like Satya doesn’t really care one way or the other. He said what he needed to say at the time of the ABK acquisition and maybe even holds that opinion but in the end, whatever feeds the bottom line is what he’ll back. Corporate speak is usually very fluid.
@panik1881@DeekeTweak Yeah regulators approved it without restrictions sans UK/EU cloud streaming concessions. No regulator put restrictions on COD, the deal with Sony/Nintendo was completely voluntary. Although, committing to those deals beforehand probably influenced regulators decisions.
@Socdem_Michael@Rasmussen_Poll@yashar Also it should be noted that the USDA_LA said today in a Glen Beck podcast that federal charges are being brought. Apparently, they already have evidence/testimony/witnesses of a federal crime related to election fraud.
@Socdem_Michael@Rasmussen_Poll@yashar True but if the USPS was involved (ie mail ballot fraud), this would allow a federal investigation and prosecution of anyone involved. Still would be up to the state legislature and courts to take steps afterwards, there’s multiple scenarios.
@delmontyb I like the idea but I doubt it. Not tat the X couldn’t run the OS but without an upgrade to the CPU portion of the APU, it’s doubtful it would last through the end of another generation sufficiently capable. Just my guess
@tomwarren Hey Tom, I can confirm this is not true. We just limited the knowledge of this news to a very small internal group. Intention was to share this news first with our players and everyone watching showcase.
@TheDane110599@PaulTassi@avoblackfyre Like I said, nobody cares if you believe me or not. I don’t go around saving things I read to placate people. Ask grok or something lol
@narkaah@dynamic_voltage Yeah I think people are missing the point. Under this regime, it’s not about that specifically, although Sharma did note that, but more so a rebuilding of brand identity and value. That’s what the CSO intimated in his interview. Regardless, both things can apply and be true.
