@simon_schama Travelling from Cork to Den Haag this week! Glad I saw this post. (Excuse the self-promotion, but thought you might like this... from the series "Birds and their disrespect for quality furniture")
@moshik_temkin I’ve been living here 32 years, never ever a problem. In fact the opposite. Became an 🇮🇪 citizen too recently and had nothing but congratulations.
@PaliparanDotCom I’m impressed, ye did your homework! You definitely found the best pubs in the city. Callanan’s reputedly serves the best Beamish in Cork as the kegs are under the bar (less distance from keg to tap).
@darrenhayman The natural history museum … or the dead zoo as it’s known (very close to the hideous Oscar Wilde statue, and the national gallery) is a must.
@msjoannamartin@Sathnam Also born and bred in Wton, but have lived in Ireland now over half my life. Always impressed on my return to city how integrated it really is. I’m sure Wolverhampton has many problems but heartwarmingly racism looks like it’s low on the list.
In the current issue - Enlightenment Stephen Brandes always subverts earnestness with the sardonic, mordant and mischievous wit that permeates all of his work - Francis Halsall on @StephenBrandes' work, who's exhibition La Place des Grands Abysses, is on view @cc_irlandais Paris
Watch @StephenBrandes and I remotely communicate with Paris - like men in space chatting to mission control - on the occasion of the opening of his exhibition, La Place des Grands Abysses, in @cc_irlandais https://t.co/oGOhdItmhO
It’s alive...at CCI, in Paris. But for those of you (like myself), who can’t get there, the movie which is part of the show is now available to you online: https://t.co/KeR0I9VznZ
Celebrated the opening of my exhibition at CCI, Paris on Friday night - at home, with two pints of homebrew watching Gardener’s World. No #croissantgate for me...
