If he doesn’t regain his balance, it’s once again not a dive. Diving is throwing yourself to ground with no contact.

@Davidmc50660735 @scotball_ He won't be in the EPL, he's playing in the EPL2 for Spurs U21s. Del is right, playing 1st team football, which is already his level is the best thing for his development. A loan to Livingston, Kilmarnock or Dundee would have made loads of sense. Lad wants what he wants though.

@dougymanson @scotsunsport If his hand isn’t there, what does it hit? His chest. If you shoot and another one of your players punch it in the net, of course that’s handball. The same way that if you shoot and our player punches it in, it’s a goal. It’s your advantage.

There’s clear contact, and yes it might be smaller than you’d hope it to be, but actual contact is actual contact especially when running at speed
