@CHRISTWAVE333 Historically, humans evolve, culture and tradition, Greek mythology, old and new testament, now it Christianity, Islam and other forms of religion
They all came, gone or evolve but nature has survived them all
And nature is neither good nor evil, it simply nature
Pastor is on the phone talking to God in the middle of a church service. Must be some serious 10G+ network. 😂
Does religion turn people stupid, or do stupid people become religious? 🤔
The gods humans invented are fucking hilarious when you strip away the sacred voice. 😂
Creates an entire universe, then gets jealous.
Knows everything, then tests you.
Needs nothing, but demands worship.
Loves everyone, but threatens punishment for disbelief.
Can perform miracles, but apparently communicates through ancient books, coincidences and people saying “trust me, bro.”
All-powerful creator of reality behaving like the neediest bloke in the group chat. 😭
If you meet a Christian.
They'll tell you a Jehovah's witness isn't a Christian.
They'll tell you the Catholics aren't Christian.
They'll tell you the seventh day Adventists aren't Christian.
They'll tell you the prayer houses aren't Christian.
Then all of them will point at ethopia and say Christianity was in Africa.. then ethopia would look at all of them and say they all aren't Christians.
Those who decided to play christian music instead of attending service the day bandits attacked the church in Owo really missed out on a lot of blessings.
PETER OBI handle the CHURCHES ⛪️
KWANKWASO handle the MOSQUES 🕌
I and others will handle the Shrines, Creeks, Villages, Motoparks, Jetties, Ashawo quarters, Schools, etc ⚠️‼️
Let’s SAVE NIGERIA💀😊
@CHRISTWAVE333 Absolutely
I won't deny the fact that the old testament and Jesus christ helped to set the standard for morality or rather made it more specific
But it doesn't mean that people that lived before the law or Christ, had no form of morality
Fair point and well written
But think about this, God existed before religion, So to me, God is nature not religion
Humans pride themselves with free will, knowledge and demi-god bullshit... yet we are still busy recycling history
The idea of God without the structure of ...🪡
You can’t have God without religion.
The term “God” is already a strictly religious concept. It only exists inside a religious paradigm. Outside of that paradigm, the word either becomes empty or is redefined into something else entirely.
To claim you “believe in God” therefore begs the question:
What exactly are you believing in?
Metaphysical reasoning, the structure of consciousness, and moral or aesthetic realism can point toward an ultimate reality. Religion does not invent that pointing. But it is religion that takes those incomplete indicators and conceptualises them with far greater coherence and depth through revelation.
That philosophical pointing is not belief.
Belief is personal knowledge of God, made possible by the methods and revelation religion provides.
If you think “spiritual but not religious” is a way to believe in God without religion, you are still begging the real questions:
• How did you first come to know what “God” even means?
• What reliable means do you have to explain or verify Him?
• How do you protect yourself from spiritual deception?
Religion, grounded in revelation, remains the only objective way to know, believe, and place your faith in God.
Take it from someone who used to be spiritual but not religious.
The only reason i was that way is because i wanted to be my own god without submitting to the dogmas, doctrines, and commandments set forth by religion.
I now understand that is exactly what causes spiritual deception.
It is pride at play.
No authority.
No accountability.
No sacrifice.
That’s exactly where the devil wants you.
Comfortable in your own ignorance and unwillingness to submit to authority other than yourself.
The whole Christian paradigm is about submitting to God.
You can’t do that if you are spiritual but not religious.
Being spiritual but not religious just means you cherry pick what matches your worldview and discard the rest.
That’s just being lukewarm, and God will spit you out.
We ate called to be spiritual and live spiritual lives. But, religion provides the proper context for what that means.
(Happy to engage respectfully if anyone disagrees.)
@CHRISTWAVE333 And the "theif" illustration is true
There's no guarantee that the standard of evolution is been steered on the right path
But it has shown to us the evolution of religion regardless
Just like the Catholic church and Christianity in general
@CHRISTWAVE333 Simply because of evolution of humanity
If evolution wasn't necessary, probably God would have set the standard from the very beginning of time
Even the bible has evolved, from different translations to different interpretations
@CHRISTWAVE333 Okay... let get something straight
I was probably wrong to define God's character solely on his creation and Christian mythology...
While for morality, it is a social construct.. if people will be judged before salvation, then people will also be judged before religion
Shouting, acting possessed, and clocking steps on a prayer walk just to get the attention of an omnipresent God makes total sense, right? It completely defies logic, but at least it looks great on camera…
The irony is that we have millions of people willing to trek for miles to ask for miracles, but nobody willing to step outside to demand basic infrastructure, electricity, or good governance from our leaders...
The cameras are gone, the walk is over, and the problems are still right where we left them…
what is the point of proving our piety to the world when our everyday reality requires political action?
@CHRISTWAVE333 John 1vs3- All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made
As for the 2nd question... you've answered it yourself when you said humans before salvation will judged by their morals...
