Time for Ireland to join the Schengen Area?
Would be better to have borderless travel with most of Europe than be tied to an inward looking brexit Britain which is strangling the CTA.
Even non-EU countries like Liechtenstein, Switzerland, Norway and Iceland are in Schengen.
I ran the Department of the Navy’s Suicide Prevention Program in the Biden Admin.
RE USS Abraham Lincoln Let me paint a picture of things that have each historically been considered “try to avoid” because they put so much stress on Sailors and/or their families: 🧵
This is shocking.
At an EU Foreign Affairs Committee meeting, Lynn Boylan lamented that it was “a pity we can’t use our own language.” When it was pointed out that she could, in fact, speak Irish, she backtracked almost instantly: "I wasn’t prepared, so I’ll use English."
If we're rewriting football history now, I have a small suggestion:
I'd like FIFA to rescind the yellow card shown to Michael Ballack in the 2002 World Cup semifinal, the one that ruled him out of the final.
And while we're at it, we might as well replay the final against Brazil.
All 3 World Cup hosts eliminated in the same round, but not alike:
🇨🇦: Proudly, with its best showing ever in a World Cup
🇲🇽: Courageously, pushing favourite England to the brink
🇲: In shame, with the world cheering against their pedophile-ruled shithole for tarnishing the game
0 - Since the introduction of yellow and red cards at the 1970 edition, no player has ever received a red card and gone on to play in his team's next match at the FIFA World Cup.
Unprecedented.
Just to be clear, then. FIFA:
1) can't possibly intervene when Iran are forced to move, a referee is denied a visa, or fans are barred from the USA
2) can absolutely intervene when a decision goes against the USA that Donald Trump doesn't like
Smashing. All know where we stand

UK: hey, our countries formed an alliance in 1386 which has legally never been ended or discon...
Portugal: Say no more. We will assemble a volunteer corp of 55 000 soldiers at once.
