Beside my Roman gold solidus of Honorius om 13th March 2026 in Hertfordshire, I hadn't had a hammered this year until a group dig of 50 ppl today, 11 minutes car journey from my house, this beautiful half crown! (Now a hoard as two others came up) really pleased with it :-)

Ppl would still be able to be identified should the odd person do something they shouldn't...(which they're always going to do in most places) ..why does it need to be a database of collected images?

Great first few hours of a long weekender for me (and another guy!). I travelled over 3.5hrs to get here but i've been wanting to get back on a @DetectingDigsUK dig for a very long time, started off on this group about 12-14 yrs ago. How lucky am I? This is now my 2nd gold coin!

Do tell me your source for the statement "Silver iodide is used in such small quantities" and "SRM methods are at 65,000ft" what quantities do you know of? and where did you read of the SRM methods? i am really keen to interrogate those sources.

The connection between "climate change" from my perspective is that the megalomaniacs think they can cool the planet by deflecting sunlight or by the use of additives to the clouds. Effects of Silver iodide etc are not fully known.
