On an emotionally tough day for @MittonSarah at #Paris2024, she showed so much grace and strength of character. It’s easy to be gracious when you’re winning, but Sarah showed the world how a true champion acts on the difficult days. She made our country and province proud.

Today we remember & honour the lives lost in our province on April 18 & 19, 2020. My thoughts are with their families & loved ones, & all who were impacted by the tragic events that took place. We are also reminded of the solidarity & resilience of Nova Scotians #NovaScotiaStrong
Today is #BellLetsTalk Day - a time to spread awareness and reduce the stigma around mental health. The past two years have been especially challenging for us all. Today, I encourage you to pick up the phone and check in with a friend, loved one, or neighbour.
Alexa McDonough was a compassionate leader and a beloved politician. She showed women in Nova Scotia and across the country they belong in politics. My thoughts are with her family and loved ones. https://t.co/hjsANtpTpd
Thank you, @IainTRankin, for successfully leading our province through the third wave and a historic vaccine rollout. Wishing you, Mary and Freya all the best.
Despite the pandemic, our population continued to grow, because Nova Scotians made our province a desirable place to live by doing what they’ve always done – looking out for their neighbours & working together. And that’s how we will get through the pandemic.
It’s a historic moment for our province – our population has hit one million people.
This milestone is the result of many people working together to show the world the reasons why #NovaScotia is a wonderful place to live, work and play.
Before the pandemic, NS was seeing back-to-back record-setting immigration years, population was at an all-time high, & we were getting younger while filling persistent labour gaps. Investments and programs for youth helped us curb youth out-migration for the 1st time in decades.
For forty years, @CTVAnchor has been a household name in the Maritime region. Never afraid to ask tough questions, Steve has always been fair, compassionate & thoughtful. I’ve appreciated being interviewed by him over the years. All the best in your retirement, Steve.
