The Odyssey being a huge success just shows how illiterate our society is.

People went because of buzz, the director and cast's celebrity status, and the fact it was a recognizable story name with The Odyssey, which the brand name does two things: one, makes them feel like they're going to something with artistic merit because of the ancient poem (making them feel smart), and two becasue it is something everyone knows but hasn't been "destroyed" yet.

It doesn't make it a good movie. This is simply high anti-white propaganda.
